Good morning, my friend. This is a new year and a fresh start. There are so many changes taking place in my (OUR) lives and I want to share them with you. Next Tuesday, January 9, 2024, I start school. It all started as I was getting a clergy badge for identification to visit people in the hospital. While getting my badge, a man asked me if I might be interested in becoming a hospital clergy. That really excited me because I love talking and encouraging people. So, I came home and talked to Joyce and she encouraged me to join the program. This is something I am super excited to do.
So today I am trying to get organized, and it starts with my time with the Lord each day and journaling what the Lord is trying to tell me to do. I also am using “Through The Word”(TTW) with Kris Langham. It’s a wonderful app where I can listen to the WORD and then journal. Today is January 3rd, so today I listened and read Proverbs 3. I love verse 21, “My son, do not lose sight of these – keep sound wisdom and discretion.” To me, the Holy Spirit is telling me to pay close attention and not lose sight. Keep it on the forefront. Then wisdom and discretion will help me stay focused and organized.

I am so glad you are stepping out in faith to do what God is calling you to, all the while remembering that your strength, fortitude, and guidance come from the Lord. This is a time (as it is always) to lean into Him. I am so inspired by your willingness to step out and be used of God to encourage those who need it desperately.
