Good morning, my friend. I have a job interview today and I am so excited and anxious at the same time. I am applying as a chaplain in a university hospital. My verse for today is Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the ONE who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” Moses was telling the people not to worry or be afraid because God will be the one to lead them through their next leader, Joshua. Then in verse 7 He tells Joshua in front of all Israel, “Be strong and of good courage, for you must go with this people to the land which the Lord has sworn to their fathers to give them. and you shall cause them to inherit it.” I know the people were anxious, too. But they also looked to their leader to calm them. God calmed Moses heart, then Moses calmed the peoples’ hearts. Then with God’s help, Moses calmed Joshua’s heart.
Today you might be anxious, but we know that God is in control. Not because I say it, but because God says it!
I’m praying for you,
Brother Larry

I love that we can use the gift of a calmed heart to help calm others. I believe that is how God intends. I love that you are using the calmness you receive from God to encourage and instill calmness to others.
Thanks, Larry. I hope all went well with your interview.
