I Choose Today to Set Priorities

My husband and I have some long time friends who opened up to us about a struggle they were having in their marriage. The reason for their struggle is they were not prioritizing spending time together. They each had their own agenda of what they needed/wanted to do, but most times it didn’t include the other person. Soon feeling neglect were realized and tension and accusation began. My husband and I shared with them what we do to be intentional about prioritizing our relationship. She was believing a lie about who she was in Christ; a child of the King! She was looking at herself through the world’s eyes, through Satan’s lies, and not the reality of her royalty. I reminded her of how God sees her; through the lense of Christ: His sacrifice, His perfection, His mercy, His grace, His love, His salvation. God had to teach me these things because I didn’t hear them while growing up. I heard that I was dumb, stupid, and would never amount to anything. I learned I was invisible; not worth the time. But God… so loved me. God saw me. God showed me I was worth
