Faithfulness. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t always get recognition.
But it’s the heartbeat of a remnant life.
I used to think that to make a difference in this world, I needed to do something big—start a movement, lead the charge, fix everything. But what I’m learning, step by step, is that faithfulness rarely looks like a spotlight. More often, it looks like quiet obedience in the small things.
It looks like saying yes to Jesus on an ordinary Tuesday.
It looks like choosing mercy instead of retaliation.
It looks like staying rooted in the Word when distractions pull hard.
It looks like following Rabboni—my Teacher—as I’m still learning.
Because the truth is, before I can go out and make disciples, I have to be one.
I have to walk with Him.
Watch Him.
Learn from Him.
Fail and try again.
Receive grace and give it away.
Step by step.
That’s why Micah 6:8 is such a lifeline for me:
“And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
That’s it. No 10-step plan. No public platform required.
Just justice.
Mercy.
Humility.
One step at a time, with God.
I’ve heard so many believers say they feel unqualified to share the gospel. Like they’re not ready. Not equipped. But the truth is, your life is proclaiming the gospel when you live surrendered to Christ. You don’t need to wait until you’ve got it all figured out.
Teach as you walk.
Speak as you learn.
Lead as you follow.
This is what the remnant has always done.
They weren’t perfect—but they were willing.
And God met them in their willingness.
Think of Noah, building an ark in obedience, one day at a time.
Think of Ruth, faithfully gleaning in the fields.
Think of the early church, breaking bread in homes and praying together.
Faithful. Not flashy.
You don’t have to map out the whole journey.
You just have to say yes to the next step.
A Simple Prayer:
Jesus,
Help me be faithful in the small things.
Teach me to follow You one step at a time.
Let my life reflect Your justice, Your mercy, and Your heart.
Even when it feels unseen, let my obedience be worship.
I choose today to be faithful.
Amen.

Mother’s Day is a good day to be reminded about faithfulness. She told me in the midst of hard ministry work, “Just BE faithful!”
Great reminder Mo!
Happy Moms Day!
Your mom was a wise woman!
Yes, even when it’s hard, I choose to be faithful!
Especially when it is hard.
