And now, here’s a message that’s been on my heart lately…

I Choose Today to Show Up Anyway
There are days when I feel like I have nothing to offer—when I feel emotionally drained, mentally scattered, or spiritually quiet. The temptation is to hide, to wait until I feel stronger, clearer, more “together.”
But I’m learning that healing doesn’t only happen in the hidden places—it often happens when we choose to show up anyway.
Show up to the quiet moment with God, even when words are few.
Show up to the people He’s placed in your life, even when your heart is tender.
Show up to the calling, even when it feels costly.
I used to think that I had to wait until I felt worthy or “on” before I could serve or speak. But God doesn’t require perfection—He honors obedience. And sometimes, the most powerful ministry flows not from our strength, but from our surrender.
God can do more with our willingness than we can with our striving.
So if you’re tired, overwhelmed, or simply worn out from the weight of life—can I just remind you:
You don’t have to be at your best to be used by God. You just have to be present.
And sometimes presence is the greatest gift we can offer—to others and to ourselves.
Today, I’m choosing to show up. Not because I feel strong, but because I know God is.
Not because I have it all together, but because He holds all things together.
Not because I feel ready, but because He is always ready to meet me right where I am.
And that’s enough.
So wherever you are right now, however much you feel like you have to give—
Just show up. God will meet you there.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (ESV)
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Even when we feel weak, His strength holds steady. And that’s why we can keep showing up—even in our weariness, even in our not-enough—because His grace is always more than enough.

Yes! Sometimes, or should I say “most times,” all I have to offer is showing up. God is so faithful to provide the strength to walk through the ups and downs of life. He is so good and He just wants to bless us. He waits for us to come to Him so He can show us His love and compassion. And so, I come and sit at His feet as I absorb His presence and by doing so, I gain strength.
