”What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” Mark 9:23 NLT
Have you ever met someone who was so anxious that they cause everyone around them to feel it too?
On the flip side, have you ever been around someone who is calm? I mean someone whose calm demeanor calms all those around them; dare I say contagiously calm.
Reflecting on the impact of anxiety, I’ve come to realize that the root cause often lies in my inability to trust God.
Do I really believe He will and can work all life’s situations for my good?
Do I really believe that He is in control and sovereign?
Do I really believe and trust God to care about my burdens enough to carry them?
Do I really believe and trust that He loves me and delights in me?
Do I believe and trust that He will never leave me nor forsake me?
Do I believe and trust that He sees and hears me?
What would my life, your life, look like if I truly believed and trusted all those things?
I believe I wouldn’t be anxious or stressed out. I believe I would be contagiously calm.
In moments of doubt, I echo the father’s plea in the Bible, acknowledging my belief while seeking help to overcome unbelief.
”The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief.” Mark 9:24 NLT
I believe God hears our cry and helps us bridge that gap between unbelief and belief.
Let’s trust in the One who takes away all our anxiety and stress today, because I want to be contagiously calm in being the ambassador for Him.
Who wouldn’t be attracted to and want to know about that kind of calm?
As we navigate life’s challenges, let’s lean on God’s promises to find peace and become ambassadors of calmness. Will you join me in this journey of trust and tranquility?
Embrace Calmness: Trusting in God’s Promises. Join me in choosing to be contagiously calm today. Let’s relinquish anxiety and stress by placing our trust in Him who makes all things possible. Will you take the step with me?

This is so good, Molinda! There are times when in the deep darkness of a sleepless night, the calm that overwhelms me is to think about the promises from God’s Word. Our faithful God is a rock that can bring calm when life turns upside down. We just have to keep our eyes on Him.
So true! That type of calmness can only be brought about by the power and peace given by God! Again, who wouldn’t want calmness and peace in the midst of deep darkness. Love this!
Amen!
Yes, I would love to take that journey with you. I would love to be the calm in my surroundings.
Great verse!!
Thank you for joining me/us in our journey of complete calmness. We need to support each other, encouraging one another in God’s Word and His promises!
