When circumstances become difficult or challenging, many of us spend a lot of time trying to come up with solutions. We worry about every detail—anything and everything that could go wrong or all the different variables. Sometimes we are so busy worrying, we become paralyzed by all the conjecture. We do nothing!
But there is good news for me and for you: we are not alone in dealing with difficulties and challenges, and God has a solution today for tomorrow’s worries!
Jesus Himself tells us as much in His Sermon on the Mount, saying:
“Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes.“ Matthew 6:34 MSG
I am in a season where I need to have faith and trust in God, not lean on my own understanding. I need to remind myself that God has tomorrow’s solutions ready for tomorrow, not for today.
“Holy Spirit, please keep reminding me that tomorrow’s solutions are already taken care of and I don’t have to worry about anything. Remind me that God will help me deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes and that I am never alone in difficult circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you find yourself worrying about the future, I invite you to take a moment to pause and pray. Trust that God has everything under control. Share your thoughts or experiences in the comments below, and let’s support each other in this journey of faith. Remember, you’re not alone!

Great reminder! Sometimes I feel like the only thing I can do about a situation is worry. But, like you say, it doesn’t help the situation, it only takes my eyes off of the only ONE who can do anything about it. And, to take it one step further, because worry is not exhibiting faith, it is sin! I have found that God gives us grace when we need it – not before we need it. The choice is to trust in the amazingly good God I have and let Him be God…cause I’m not!
You are so right! What would our life look like if we let God be God, and not try to do His job? Peaceful, good, joyous; I could go on and on. Why don’t we let it go and let God? We would be so much better for it!
“God, I lay all my worries at Your feet. I don’t want them back. Help me leave them there. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Amen, my friend! I’m so thankful for how the Lord is leading, and your willingness to share what He’s teaching you. It certainly helps and reminds me that He has it – ALL OF IT – under control. He has today and tomorrow in His most capable hands.
Amen, my friend. He uses each of us to encourage each other in the Lord. It reminds me of the verse “He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” 2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT.
