Everyone goes through hard times in life; absolutely everyone. These hard times are often referred to as storms we get caught up in. I’ve been through some amazingly difficult storms in my life.  Some with embracing the peace of God and others attempting to find inner peace on my own. Needless to say, having the peace of God, that transcends all understanding, is the only way to find the peace to navigate the storms of life. There are over 400 verses in the Bible that talk about the gift of peace. Here are a few promises of the peace that Jesus and God promise to Their people: 1. Philippians 4:7 (ESV) – “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” 2.
